First week back at a full-time job: complete!
To celebrate I enjoyed my Saturday while Richard finished up work. After chores and puppy snuggling I did 20 minutes of yoga to music. Isn’t self-led yoga the best? It felt like I gave my body a big hug!
After my mini yoga session I went out for a run. I’ve been having trouble adjusting to the 9-5- that combined with fighting a cold most of this week meant I missed most of my workouts. Just getting outside was so refreshing! I did 6.5 miles…. and no dogs chased me!!
Richard and I headed to Earth Fare for a quick, healthy dinner.
I got a big plate of vegan goodness- including sesame pasta, cajun tofu, butternut squash with cranberry and organic salad with Annie’s Goddess dressing Yum!
When we were younger we’d roam the aisles in WalMart (open 24/7!)… now we roam the aisles of grocery stores!
I got a carob cookies for the drive home The flavors are really different. It’s a delicious change from a regular chocolate chip cookie.
Now I’m curled up with four puppies (and Jack!) with Richard watching Dog Day Afternoon. It’s great so far!
