Blogging Pants Come Back to Life

Once upon a time a wonderful, wonderful movement began.

Faith started a wonderful movement with the Blogging Pants:

“Each woman is to write an encouraging message, affirmation, sentiment of wisdom, and send them on to another whom they feel needs some encouragement along the way.”

The pants have traveled to:

- Hangry Pants

- Chandra

- Run, Eat, Repeat!

- Healthy Tipping Point

- A to Pink

- Then Heather Said

Far too long ago Then Heather Said typed words that still brings me to tears. I am beyond honored that this wonderful lady sees me as an inspiration and was thoughtful enough to send the Blogging Pants my way.IMG_7708.JPG

Just one look at the affirmations on these pants and you can’t help but feel a bit more prepared and inspired to take on the world.

I took on several big life changes while the pants got buried in my closet. I ran my first ultra marathon, ended a long-term relationship, moved out on my own again, did an Ironman, got engaged, left lululemon and moved to North Carolina. I feel terrible for putting the fabulous movement that is the Blogging Pants on hold, but in a way I needed that time to realize the one thing that is most important for me to add to these pants and sign my name to: Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

The best things in my life have some from tough decisions to leave my comfort zone. Those decisions come with sadness and excitement… and a new strength that prepares me for life’s next journey. When I packed up my life in Orlando and left the job, friends and family I love, my lululemon friends gave me a card and frame with the quote…

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. -Neale Donald Walsch

The next tough decision is who to send this inspiration to next. Ryan inspires me to treat my body well, Caitlin inspires me to have a sense of humor and Sarah inspires me to use my body and run!

Every time I visit Ashley’s blog never home maker I am inspired. It’s the little things in her posts that push me to lead a healthier, happier life. Ashley is honest and open and refreshing. Whether she’s pulling herself out of a slump, doing yoga on a office desk, cooking a yummy meal, being conscious of her changing diet or trying life without shampoo, I’m inspired. Life isn’t all about marathon recaps and baking the perfect cake. The way Ashley (and her husband Stephen) tackle life makes me want to make my own life a little more yummy, more creative and more fun.

What a neat idea. I had never heard of the bloggy pants before now. Can you actually wear them or are you just supposed to pass them around?
I love your blog for inspiration, your effort and positive thoughts are contagious. :)

What a fantastic idea! I read HTP daily and adore never(home)maker. I like blogs that are a group effot because it gives a fresh take on healthy living. I think you can send those pants to any blogger though! just having the courage to share your life in a public domain is inspirational.

I’ve loved the idea of the blogging pants, ever since they surfaced on Caitlin’s blog.

Blogs that inspire me? Fitnessista is a big one. I find your blog inspiring because you’re my age & you just seem so…solid. I’m not sure that’s the word I’m really looking for, but you seem like you’re happy being you & doing your thang. Plus, you live Asheville and I like using your posts to find places to visit when I’m going to be there at school!
