Isn’t it funny how life always seems to just work out? How we can spend so much time worrying and calculating risks and saying “poor me” that we totally miss out on enjoying the moments before everything falls into place?
Last month I quit a job that wasn’t working for me. It was scary but it was a risk I took for my own happiness. I had faith that the electric bill would be paid and that I’d find an opportunity that just fit.
Exactly the next day I secured a fun barista job and found out lululemon had an opening. The next day.
I worked for lululemon in Orlando and loved it. My goals are in this company and I hated being apart from it. Day after day I wished something would open up in the Asheville lululemon Showroom, but for six months the answer was no.
And suddenly, once I created space for it and started needing it less, the answer was yes.
Today I spent training at the showroom and tomorrow is my first real day back on the floor. Today included a short run, a hot yoga class, lululemon, Jazzercise (seriously!) and Rosetta’s pad thai.
Whether we’re on top of the mountain or down in the valley, life is good.
Back with lululemon = more community classes! Right now I’ve covered yoga, Pilates, CrossFit, Jazzercise, pole dancing and dance. What other fitness classes should I try here in Asheville? What is on your list to try?

So exciting! Congrats on making the decision that is best for you!! I’m so glad you have a job you love now.
Happy for you, Ashley!!! It really is amazing how having a little faith and not worrying about things usually makes everything fall right into perfect place.
My sister does Jazzercise all the time — everyone teases her, but she loves it! I went to a class with her once and it was NOT an easy workout. ha.
Good for you! I wish my town had a lululemon; it looks like such a cool store. Doesn’t it feel nice to be doing what you really love?

Sometimes all it takes is the courage to end one chapter so another one can begin. It’s great that you are doing what you love now, life is to short to be miserable at work. Happy for ya
