I am in love.
After two days in labor, my mom finally welcomed my new sister and her perfect angel, baby Ella.
Richard, my siblings, my grandparents and I gathered at the hospital waiting and waiting for Ella to join us.
This was my mom’s SIXTH pregnancy, so she’s basically a pro. Talking about the delivery process and what your body does freaked me out a bit. Unfortunately for my baby fever, the sheer joy and anticipation on her face more than made up for it.
We got a little bored in the waiting room so we started wondering if we could deadlift each other.. which lead to turkish getups, push presses, curls and a bear complex.
I think we scared my grandparents a bit.
And then Ella was born.
There are no words to capture the beauty that is a new life. Welcome to the world, Ella. We love you.

Oh Ashley! how wonderful for your family. she is beautiful and I cant get how great your mom looks being in labor for two days! What a trooper.
