Urban Girl Wellness offered me the opportunity to try their
14 Day Fresh Start Cleanse a few weeks back. I said yes because it’s not a total detox (I need my food!) but more of a reset button to healthy eating. I can definitely use that! I immediately signed up on their website and selected my flavor options.

My package came yesterday and I sent an email saying that today would be the first day of the 14 day program. The timing works well because in exactly two weeks from now I’m leaving for Vancouver!
Every day I will receive emails with what I should eat for the next day and other related tips, recipes, videos, etc.

The first five days are a RESET where I eat mostly the meal shakes, protein bars, a little fruit and unlimited dressing. I have some long workouts planned during these next five days so, as directed, I will add in an extra shake if I need it, in addition to all my produce!

The 1st 5 days of your program will go like this: Each day for 5 days you drink 3 delicious and filling shakes at mealtime, eat a yummy nutrition bar for both your morning and afternoon snacks, plus one serving of fruit and unlimited raw vegetables anytime during the day. You will feel full and not hungry during these 5 days! While on the 5 Day RESET, you also drink eight to ten glasses of water and exercise moderately for 20-30 minutes per day. Those who want to lose weight may lose as much as 4-5 pounds on the RESET, and the fat comes off the waist first. But the most important result of the RESET is that it puts the body in a healthy state so that it is easier to make healthy food choices.
I’ll blog my experience as I go through this. What I hope for is a two week reset to my habits and cravings and to feel balanced, healthy and strong throughout the program and after. Here we go!

I am trying to lose a few pounds, even though I am consistent with my workouts I know that I need to eat better. I would love to try this to help me get back on track!

I would love the opportunity to try this! It’s been hard to get back on track with healthy eating and exercising after graduating from college. This would be a great step in the right direction towards becoming healthier and losing a few added lbs

I would love to try this program. I’m living on a dude ranch for the summer, and have gotten way off track with eating well and exercising here. What a great opportunity to clean up my habits!
I am interested in trying this program because even though I eat healthy and exercise consistently, I do a lot of mindless and emotional eating. Eating is my go to coping skill, and I really want to break that habit and get out of my eating routines/ruts. I liked UWG on facebook, but I don’t have a twitter

I would love to try this! I am getting ready to start a new training session for some half marathons. I am also trying to look my best for my upcoming wedding in three months! This could be a great jump start for the sweet tooth I am trying to reign in!
