
Without fail, I never regret beginning the week with an early morning workout.

It took some work to get myself out of bed but once I arrived to the box, I was so glad I was there. The 6am class is usually the same group so it’s fun to see everyone… even if we are still asleep in the beginning!
Monday WOD
4 Rounds for Time:
10 parallette shoot thrus (this is a great demo video but we didn’t do the push-up)
15 wall ball (14#)
20 double unders (or 60 single unders)
200m. run
1 min. rest

I had some jump rope issues again (need to start bringing mine!) but overall I loved the WOD. At the last run Hung, another Firebaser, started making progress behind me and yelled, “don’t let me pass you, Ashley!” That pushed me in high gear. I finished the WOD in 15:20 and collapsed on the floor. Not long ago I told myself that if I wasn’t on the floor, I didn’t work hard enough.

Someone in my class mentioned doing Crossfit and I thought it was funny that it never occurred to me that non-bloggers would be into CF.

I love starting the week with a workout. In fact, I’ve been up at 4am for the last 2 days to fit workouts in before my new job. Totally worth it.
